Final exams for those students not passing their SOL tests will start on Monday, June 8th, with exams 4th period and 5th period. On Tuesday, June 9th, final exams are scheduled for 1st, 4th, and 6th periods. On Wednesday, June 10th, exams are scheduled for 2nd, 4th, and 7th periods. The last exam will be on Thursday, June 11th, for 3rd period.
Four chemistry students are eligible for an Expedited Retake of the SOL on Friday, June 5th at 12:45. I plan to have them prepare during class and also during 6th period on Wednesday and Thursday, June 3rd and 4th. The Practice SOL link below is a good chance for students to practice with released SOL questions and includes explanations. Passing the SOL on this second chance will complete a Verified Credit in Chemistry and will allow the student to be exempt from the exam.
