2009-20010 Giles High School
Parents and Students welcome.
Parents- Driver's Education is now underway for the 09-10 school year. Your son is responsible for keeping and bringing a driver's education notebook to class everyday for the purpose of note taking. They are also responsible for bringing a pen or pencil to class and on test day they must have a #2 pencil. Driving and riding in an automobile is the most dangerous thing you do every day. Please help us to help your son to become a RESPONSIBLE DRIVER. To prepare for test students will be given a study guide for each test. They will have time to complete the study guide in class, and we will go over the study guide as a class during the last 10-15 minutes of class. Students need to spend time studying the guides and notes in order to do well on tests.
45 hour driving logs are now available. Student's must pass the classroom part of driver's education in order to obtain their driving permit.
Parent's please encourage your child to participate in PE Class everyday.
Gym class does double-duty. It helps busy teens fit in a workout plus it earns them a school credit. Studens can think of PE as a free-gym membership. One they can enjoy everyday with friends and classmates.
