There are 4 grammar concepts in Chapter 2 Grammatica 1:
1) The verb ser plus adjectives
2) Gender & noun/adjective agreement
3) Definite & Indefinite articles
4) Questions

To reinforce these, please read and do the basic quiz for www.studyspanish.com lessons 1,2,11,12, and 20.  It sounds like a lot, but especially lesson 1 should be easy.

Extra Credit Opportunity for Spanish I & II
Current Events
Due by 24.1.07 (remember dates in Spanish!)
Current events are things, big & small,  that go on every day around the world. Find an article about a Spanish speaking country, immigration and/or Latinos in the United States.  The length & topic are up to you. Include:
-Title of Article:
-Source:
-Date of Article:
-Summary - Write a clear, concise synopsis explaining the “who, what, why, where, when & how” of the situation, in your own words.
-Personal Response - How do you feel bout the situation discussed? What action should be taken?  Why is it important?

Local papers, such as the Roanoke Times & the New River Current frequently feature such stories. Many newspapers are available on-line. Here are a few links to get you started...
