Week of April 14-18
This week our new word wall words are:
put, because, better, give, people
Our spelling words are: new, grew, drew, true, blue, glue, give, put, fixes, washes
The focus is on /ue/ and /ew/ sounds and adding -es to words that end in -ch, -sh,-x, or -s .
In Math we are working on telling time to the hour and half hour. Please continue to work on counting money at home.
In science we are studying Ecology. We will be learning about natural and man-made resources. We will be learning ways to take care of our resources such as recycling, reusing and reducing. We will touch on endangered animals and habitats such as the rain forest.
