Math:
Throughout the month, we will be strengthening math skills with various games and activities.  Many of our tasks will be based on logical reasoning and problem solving.  This week, we will use a Venn diagram to identify multiples, develop spatial sense by working with pentominoes, and work with graph paper and string to determine how perimeter affects area.  Our Science Fair preparations will also involve many math skills, particularly measurement and statistics. (All Math SOLs)

Our Poetry Circles will culminate this week.  The students will take the English SOL Test on Wednesday. (Eng SOL 3.1 & 3.5)
