Albequerque Turkey
(tune: My Darlin Clemenine)
Albuquerque is a turkey
And he's feathered and he's fine
And he wobbles and he gobbles
And he's absolutely mine!
He's the best pet you can get yet
Better than a dog or cat
He's my Albuquerque turkey
And I'm awfully proud of that!
And my Albuquerque turkey
Is so happy in his bed
'Cause for our Thanksgiving Dinner
We have spaghetti instead!
****************************************************
I'm A Little Turkey
(tune: I'm A Little Teapot)
I'm a little turkey
Fluffy and brown.
My wings flip-flop
When I turn around.
I have a lot of feathers
On my back,
And a big orang beak
That goes "click clack"!
*****************************************************
One Little, Two Little...
One little, two little, three little Indians
Four little, five little, six little Indians
Seven little, eight little, nine little Indians
Ten little indian Boys and girls.
Each one rode a spotted pony
Each one rode a spotted pony
Each one rode a spotted pony
Ten little indian boys and girls.
Each one did an indian war dance
Each one did an indian war dance
Each one did an indian war dance
Ten little indian boys and girls.
Each one caught a big fat turkey
Each one caught a big fat turkey
Each one caught a big fat turkey
Ten little indian boys and girls.
Each one paddled a little canoe
Each one paddled a little canoe
Each one paddled a little canoe
Ten little indian boys and girls.

A Thanksgiving Song
(tune: The Farmer In The Dell)
The pilgrim says thanks,
The pilgrim says thanks.
Heigh-ho on Thanksgiving Day,
The pilgrim says thanks.
The turkey says gobble,
The turkey says gobble.
Heigh-ho on Thanksgiving Day,
The turkey says gobble.

I'm Glad I'm Not A Turkey
(tune: Did You Ever See A Lassie/)
Oh, I'm glad I'm not a turkey,
a turkey, a turkey.
Oh, I'm glad I'm not a turkey,
On Thanksgiving Day.
They stuff you and bake you,
And then they all taste you.
Oh, I'm glad I'm not a turkey,
On Thanksgiving Day.
*****************************************************
Mmmm-So Good!
(tune: Frere Jacques)
Smells like Thanksgiving,
Smells like Thanksgiving
Mmmm - so good, Mmmm - so good!
I can smell the turkey.
I can smell the pies.
Mmmm - so good, Mmmm - so good!

We Will Cook Thanksgiving Dinner
(tune: She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain)
We will cook Thanksgiving dinner for our guests.

We are tempted to start tasting.
We will cook Thanksgiving dinner for our guests.
(Mmm, mmm!)
We will gather round the table when they come.

Happy Halloween!
Several of you have ask for the words to the Halloween songs we will be singing at the nursing home. So here are some of them:
Did You Ever See A Pumpkin?
(tune: Did You Ever See A Lassie?)
Did you ever see a pumpkin, a pumpkin, a pumpkin
Did you ever see a pumpkin with no face at all?
With no eyes (point to eyes) and no nose (point to nose)and no mouth (point to mouth)and no teeth (point to teeth)
Did you ever see a pumpkin with no face at all?
So I made a Jack-O-Lantern, a Jack-O-Lantern, a Jack-O-Lantern
So I made a Jack-O-Lantern with a big, funny face
With big eyes (point) and big nose (point) and big mouth (point) and big teeth (point)
So I made a Jack-O-Lantern with a big, funny face.

One Little Ghostie
(tune: Mary Had A Little LAmb)
One little ghostie hopping up and down,
hopping up and down, hopping up and down.
One little ghostie hopping up and down,
For this is Halloween!
Two little skeletons rattling down the street .....
Three little witches flying through the air .....
Four little black cats going "meow" .....
Five little pumpkins rolling everywhere .....
******************************************************
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said - Oh my, it's getting late
The second one said - there are witches in the air
The third one said - but we don't care
The fourth one said - Let's run and run and run
The fifth one said - I'm ready for some fun
Then Whoooooo went wind and out went the lights and the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Down in the valley by the old oak tree.
