Thank you for allowing me to adjust our schedule from Friday. We did complete our testing today. I will return their work to you tomorrow.
We will read “The Big Circle” and other accompanying stories this week. The vocabulary for the story is down, inside, now, there, together. We will work with the long o sound spelled with o_e. We will also work with contractions ending with n’t, ‘m, and ‘ll.
Spelling words: home, hope, rose, woke, those, bone, hose, joke, rode, stone, there together. Challenge words: quote, phone, buttonhole, homework, shouldn’t.
We will work with days, months, and holidays in language. We have already worked on days of the week in our morning math book.
In math we are continuing with addition and subtraction.
We are still reading Thanksgiving stories in social studies.
Music is Monday and Thursday.
PE is Tuesday and Friday.
Library is Wednesday.
Next week is a two day week and we will continue this week’s work into Monday and Tuesday. If I feel the students are ready for regular testing on Friday this week, we will go ahead. But if not, we will wait until the first of next week.
