Reading
Story—The Bremen Town Musicians

Vocabulary— people, sign, bought, scared, probably, shall, pleasant, mill, musician, excitement, robbers, monsters

Skills- plurals, author's purpose, realism, and r-controlled vowels

Please read the story each night.

Some students will be bringing home Decodable Readers and/or Strategic Decodable Readers.  Please sign the cover after your child reads it to you.  Return it to school the next day.  

Fresh Read Fluency homework due Friday.  Directions for completing the week long assignment are in the Reading folder.

Story test--Friday.


Spelling-plurals
note, notes, lunch, lunches, story, stories, tune, tunes, switch, switches, baby, babies

Challenge words—crumbs, supplies, centuries, holidays,
torches, and decisions

Spelling test--Friday.

Dictation test-Friday
1.  He liked her stories.

Animal Report and Puppet Homework is due on Monday, Nov. 9.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday, Nov.10 from 3:30-6:30.  Request forms will be sent home on Tuesday.
