Reading: This week we will read "Tops and Bottoms."
There will be a test on Thursday
November 5th. This week you should find
a paper called "Family Times" in your
child's home folder. This should help
you as you and your child work together on
this week's story. You will find the
vocabulary words,information about the
Language skill, and a place to take a
practice spelling test. You will receive a
paper like this for every story.
Please have your child read the story at
least twice a week, even if you spread it
over four days. This will help your child
with word recognition,comprehension,and
fluency. Even if you alternate reading pages
with him/her it will be a BIG help towards
improving reading skills.
