Students now have access to the textbook on line. Each student was given a half sheet of paper containing detailed directions along with the username and password for each class. Please use as another resource at home.:)(remember all lowercase and no spaces)

Students should be looking over their 3rd quarter vocabulary each evening.

Class novels should be coming to and from school everyday. $10 fee is a book is lost.
1/13- Students checked out their independent novel from the media center. Students also got their reading log for 3rd quarter (it is yellow). Students have divided the total number of pages by the number of nights for the assignment to get the number of pages they need to read each night. Reading on the weekend is not mandatory, but if students want to do some on the weekend they can. The reading log needs to be initialed by a parent each night. *This quarter I am allowing students to count the reading they do in SSR. If you see your child has written some pages that they read during SSR, that is fine. Students also need to be filling out the "main ideas from reading" section each night. This can be just bulleted info., no need for complete sentences here.
