In response to the two unexpected snow days coming just days before the 2nd quarter ends, all Language Arts classes focused on grades, missing assignments, and ways in which to improve unsatisfactory grades with little time. Some students have taken home missing assignments with the expectation that they be returned to me tomorrow for late credit. Other students were able to find these missing assignments in their binders and have turned those in for late grade. Still others were given the chance in class today to take last Friday's homophones quiz. I will be working on grades tonight and tomorrow. Please be patient when viewing your child's grades on SPAN. I expect there to be many changes before the end of the teacher workday on Monday. We have been working hard to "cross all the Ts and dot all the Is" so that your student earns a fair grade.
