EOG’s will begin the week of May 12th.  Please be considerate of the 3-5 grade children if you are in the building.

In reading, we are working on reading stories from our anthologies and talking about the relevant story elements, such as plot, characters, setting, author’s message, main events and making connections.

In math, we are reviewing the skills we learned since the beginning of the year.

In writing, we are using descriptive words, correct capitalization and punctuation.  We are working on retelling stories with different graphic organizers.

In science, we are growing sunflowers and monitoring their growth.  We are writing down our observations in our science folder.

Thank you for one of the best years I’ve had as a teacher.  The children were wonderful to work with and we had a lot of fun.  I wish them the best in second grade!!!!
