Signed discipline plans are due by Friday, August 29th from all students enrolled in art.
Sketchbook assignments are due the first day of every week from students enrolled in seventh and eighth grade art classes.
Seventh and eighth grade students will need the following materials for art class:
1. Sketchbook
2. Sharpened #2 pencils for everyday use
3. Eraser
4. Folder or portion of a binder for handouts
In addition, students will be asked to bring in images from magazines, books or photographs. Eighth grade students will need a photograph of themselves (head and shoulder or portrait shot) for one project.
Sixth grade students will need the following materials for art class:
1. Sharpened #2 pencils for everyday use
2. Eraser
3. Folder or portion of a binder for handouts
In addition, sixth grade students will be asked to bring in some materials from home for certain projects. These materials include leaves, empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls, and a roll of masking tape. Students may also be asked to bring in images from magazines, books or photographs of animals.
