For your calendar:
* Report card assembly 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the gym. Students from 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades who made honor roll, principal's list, and Terrific Kid for the first 9 weeks will be called forward to receive a certificate.
* Tuesday, Dec. 8, the third-graders will present their annual musical at 1 p.m. in the gym. Mark your calendars.
CRAFTY FAMILY MEMERS NEEDED -- Mrs. Snider has a pattern for dinosaur hats to be made out of posterboard. We need 19 of them made for our class members. If you can produce these perhistoric headpieces, please contact me ASAP. Also, Mrs. Snider needs a parent volunteer to do the backdrop.
Thanks to all parents who signed up to help with our fall party. We look forward to it tomorrow. We are blessed with lists of parents who also signed up for December and Valentines. Coordinators will be in touch.
MATH MATTERS: Check out pearsonsuccessnet.com to see an online copy of your child's math book, work with interactive manipulatives, and more. A letter was sent home earlier this month with your child's user name and password. If you've lost it and need a reminder, jot a note in the planner.
STILL IN NEED OF SNACKS . . . I hand out about 50 donated snacks a week. If you are able to provide a snack, please send one with your child. Every child eats a snack every day. If you are able to provide some extras, they will be consumed and appreciated.
PENCIL CHECK: Please check your child's pencil supplies. I'm putting out about 50 donated pencils a week, as well, and they're gone each morning by 8.
