Pro-Reading is a course designed to prepare students to do well on the North Carolina End-of-Grade Reading Test. The text we use is the Jamestown Reading Drills book. This text helps the students to develop reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, and vocabulary development.

Build vocabulary in context:
All vocabulary words are introduced within the reading passages.
Exercises require students to use context to get meaning.
EOG vocabulary will be introduced on Mondays and tested on Thursdays.
We will be using Cornerstone Reading Program on Fridays to further develop reading skills.
