Our field trip to Ovis Hill Farms was lots of fun!!!! We had a great day, saw lots of animals and made neat farm crafts.  This was a great way to wrap up our farm animal unit!

We had a great time at Lee State Park!  Ranger Kirk was very interesting and we saw lots of neat microscopic creatures that live in ponds!  We , also, saw many animals that live on and around ponds, including a long black snake!!!  What a great way to end a fun unit of study!

We are working on first grade spelling words!!!!  We had a spelling bee and everyone present knew how to write the words!!!! Good job kids!!!!

In math, we are working with money!! We are learning our coins and how much each coin is worth.  Practice at home with pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
