Reading

-This week we will finish up informational text with a practice test on Monday and the final test on Tuesday.  Thank you for sending in all the magazines and newspapers!

-Students should be reading a minimum of 2 lines each night of 100BC.  If they would like to earn a 100 for a test grade at the end of the nine weeks, they should be reading 14 lines each week.  Twenty-two lines each week will enable them to go to the 100BC celebration at the end of the nine weeks.

Writing

-This week we'll be working our way through the state writing rubric with a piece of our own writing!

Social Studies

-We are continuing our immigration study guide.  We've also been reading Letters from Rifka in class.  The boys have really enjoyed it!
