Warm-up:

Atlas

Answer question #1 from study sheet. (Students  use yesterday’s notes!)

Read a loud Cyclops

WB p. 62 use text p.253-256

PowerPoint slides and video clips will be used where appropriate during the week

1.bubble map to introduce Greece- brainstorm facts known about Greece

2. Discussion of the geography and climate of Greece

3. WB p. 61 use text pages 247-249

4. Chapter 9 vocabulary

 

1. Use the Greece study sheet to answer vocabulary #1-12

2. label and color the map of Greece on the back of study sheet.

3. Read p. 252-254 about Greek religion and the Trojan war

4. Write your name in Greek letters and decorate. See examples. Use white paper and return alphabet when leaving as an exit slip.
