Welcome to Mrs. Hilton and Mrs. Costa's Kindergarten Class
We are off to a wonderful start to the school year. The students have been practicing the letters of the alphabet, making patterns, sorting, and learning to read several sight words! We went on our first field trip to Niven's Apple Farm. The students came back with a bag full of apples and a better understanding of what it is like to work on a farm. We are excited about a fun filled learning experience this year in kindergarten.

The following rules will be reviewed at school. Please review at home with your child often.
Class Rules
1. Keep hands and feet to yourself
2. Speak courteous/Be kind
3. Follow teachers' directions
4. Do not run in the classroom
5. Walk quietly in the hall
6. Do not put toys in your mouth
7. Obey cafeteria rules

10.Be at school on time
Consequences
1. Verbal warning
2. Name in notebook/ 5 minutes time out
3. 10 minutes time out
4. Note or telephone call to parent
5. Referral to office
General News
Please check your child's book bag each day. We will be sending home letters containing important information about our classroom policies.
Please put your child's name on everything you send to school, especially the envelope for lunch money and any other monies.
School begins at 7:40. Please make sure your child is in his/her classroom ready to start the day on time.
School dismisses at 2:30.
A note must be sent to school or parents must call if there is a change in the way your child gets home.
