Below is an outline of what is to follow for the courses of Precalculus w/Trigonometry and Physics for the school year 2008-2009.

REQUIRED MATERIALS:
. All students are required to bring his/her textbook to class each day.
. Students need a three-ring binder for taking notes and for storing
graded papers each day. One needed for each course.
. Students must bring an ink pen and two (2) #2 pencils each day.
. Students must bring a calculator each day. CELL PHONE
CALCULATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
. Students must bring a compass, protractor and a
one (1) foot ruler with U.S. and metric units each
day.
. Students must have an up to date Berkeley County library card.
CLASS RULES:
All rules will be governed in accordance to the Student Handbook 2008-2009 and each student is expected to be familiar with the rules as outlined (see Miracle Academy Web site www.miracleacademy.org/).
CLASS PROCEDURES:
. Students must bring all required materials to class daily.
. Be prepared to begin work when you enter the classroom.
. Homework will be discussed at the beginning of each class
period.
. Quizzes may or may not be notified in advance. All tests will be
announced.
. Students are required to write down all assignments before leaving
the classroom.
GRADING:
. Homework, Class Work, Class Participation-------25% of final grade
. Field trips participation and summary--------------10% of final grade
. Quizzes (announced and unannounced)-------------25% of final grade
. Tests (Chapter and Unit)-------------------------------40% of final grade
