AFTER-SCHOOL ART IS IN SESSION...

Registration forms will be in Tuesday Folders on April 22, 2008!

What: Pottery painting class, with porcelain pieces supplied by Possibly Picasso.  
When: Wednesdays, from 3:10 - 4:15 PM.  Different grade levels will meet each week.  Please sign up for the appropriate level on the registration form.
Where: The Art Room
Cost: $15.00-$26.00 per session.  Price varies based on pottery choice; the fee includes all materials.  Please make checks payable to SCS-Art.
Instructor: Ms. Martens

SESSIONS:
May 14 – Kindergarten-Second Grades
May 21 – Third-Fifth Grades
May 28 – Sixth-Eighth Grades

Donations Needed!

The art class is in need of the following items:

Paper towels
Baby wipes
#2 pencils - We desperately need more of these!!
Cap erasers
Glue sticks - We desperately need more of these!!
Markers - We desperately need more of these!!
Paper plates (all sizes)
Ziploc baggies (all sizes)
Old t-shirts (for art smocks)
Old magazines
Old greeting cards
Plastic frozen food trays (Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, etc.)

If you have any of these items to donate, please send them to school with your child in a bag labeled 'art class donations.'  Thank you!

Volunteer!

Individuals interested in volunteering for art class should contact Miss Martens via email or phone.  (Her email address can be found @ the school website, in the staff email directory; or phone the SCS office and leave a message.)  No prior art experience is required of volunteers...just a willingness to lend a hand (or two)!

NOTE:  Volunteers must be VIRTUS trained.
