Selecting a Project
The topic should be educational and interesting not just to you but your peers as well Since they will vote to accept your proposed idea, be your audience and assess your work.
The topic should have sufficient depth and available resources

Oral Proposal (2 minutes)
• Description/purpose/goals of project
• Timeframe to complete the project (includes weekly update reports)
• Method of presentations
• Tech tools that will be used for presentation (original audio, video, images, powerpoint)
• Initial resources
• Challenges that may be anticipated
• After proposal have a brief question and answer period discussing potential additions to topic.
Project Proposal
The components of your project proposal should include
• An overview of the project.
• What is the purpose of the project?
• What goals do you have, and how will you fulfill them?
• How will you relate the discovery process? Papers/Presentations
• List initial resources and references
• Requirements and timeline
Peer Assessment
• What Rubric will you use? (when and what will be graded?)
Presentations
• 2-5 minute weekly progress reports followed by assessment
Report
• A formal MLA paper with references 3-5 pages on your topic of interest.
PowerPoint
• Must go with your final presentation and include original audio and video
Final Presentation
• 5 – 10 minutes presented with a PowerPoint
