Presentations this week!!

Friday, Mar.7
ALL Visuals are due today. Final preparation and practice today for your presentations.

Thursday, Mar.6
You should have brought any necessary materials for your project today. We will be practicing presenting our lessons, and looking for anything we'll need to finish tomorrow in class to be ready for the presentations next week.

Wednesday, Mar.5
Today we finished making our assessments. When that is completed and turned in, you and your partner should work on visuals, practicing the lesson, etc.
Tonight: gather any materials you need to bring to school in order to practice your lesson tomorrow.

Tuesday, Mar.4
Today we will be in the LAB to type the assessment you created yesterday. A printed copy will be due tomorrow. You may also need to type your story that you will be teaching. You may print a copy for yourself and your partner.

Monday, Mar.3
Today you and your partner need to create your assessment. An assessment is a tool that you will use to see if your classmates learned what they needed to learn. It can be a worksheet or a quiz.

Friday, Feb.29
Today you need to have your participation idea and visual ideas approved. I need to know what you plan to make/bring/need for your visuals.

Thursday, Feb.28
Today parent signatures were due. You also needed to decide on what story you will present.

Monday-Tuesday, Feb.11-12
Checkpoints Testing. Makeups are Friday.

Mon. Feb.4th
TEST Today. No Homework. :-)

Friday, Feb.1
TEST Monday, Feb.4th over the Ruins of Mesoamerica book and how to outline. Study all your worksheets from the book, and look over the worksheets about outlining. :-)

Tonight you need to finish "The Marble Champ" story and questions if you didn't finish in class. Make sure you answered one of the three written response questions.

Projects DUE on Monday, 12/17. We are presenting projects all week! Be ready to read yours and wow us all!! :-)

Friday, 12/14
Today you should have finished typing your project. If not, you will need to add to your project at home or rewrite it and turn it in on Monday.

Thursday, 12/13
Continue working on editing your rough draft. Tomorrow is the final day in the computer lab.

Wednesday, 12/12
Tonight, make the changes/suggestions that you were given today by your peers. Tomorrow and Friday we'll be in the lab to type it.

Monday and Tuesday, 12/10-12/11
All classes: Work on your rough draft. Again, have it complete by Wednesday (handwritten) because your peers will be editing it in class on Wednesday.

Friday, 12/7
All classes: Work on your rough draft this weekend. It should be nearly complete by Wednesday (handwritten), so that you can get the most out of the peer editing day.

Thursday, 12/6
All classes: Work on rough draft for project. Be sure to bring it and a free reading book tomorrow.

Wednesday, 12/5
All classes: Get project sheet signed. Must be signed by Friday, 12/7.
5th period: Complete Lessons 1 & 3 packets.

Thursday, 11/29
No homework tonight or this weekend. As always, remember to bring a free reading book with you to class every day!
