Synthesize- combination of parts
Evaluate- judgment
These cards are due on the first day of class.  They must be held together in some fashion (rubber banded, boxed...)  They are worth 100 points EACH and will be graded for accuracy and content quality.  A quiz on each book is always possible.  Students must sign for this requirement sheet in room 210.

We are currently in unit 1 (text chapters 1-3.)  We're discussing exploration and settlement.  We have had some great conversations about all kinds of topics including whether Columbus was a hero or villain.   Students should form permanent study groups to discuss material and should be meeting weekly.  We have a unit test on Tuesday, August 26 and all outside work for the unit is also due on that date.   Unit two will begin immediately after the test and topics will include Imperial Perspective, Road to Independence, the Revolution and Shaping a Federal Union. (Chapters 4-7)  The unit test will be Wed. 9/15 and outside work will be due then.

WORLD HISTORY 101:  We are currently discussing the Ancient Greeks.  We are studying how philosophy, culture and individuals impact society from 1700 BC to 400 AD.  (WH 3)  Also, students are writing an original myth as a creative assignment and they have been given a homework packet as well.  The second unit test is scheduled for Friday, August 29.  All outside work for the unit is also due on that date.
