The 8th grade health classes are working on resolving conflict. Students are to prepare a 2-3 minute speech that deals with prejudices in out society.
6th Grade Health
The 6th grade health classes are working on fitness and nutrition. Mr. Kahrs, a student teacher from Kennesaw State University, is leading the class. He will be the main teacher for the remiander of the nine weeks grading period.
7th Grade Health
The 7th grade health classes have just finihsed their first week of Adult CPR training. The students have adapted very well to this alternative type of instruction. They will begin using the ADAM and AKTAR manikins the week of January 29.
The first current event assignment was due Friday, January 26. This assignment was based on out current unit CPR. Students were to reasearch an article that delt with any type of rescure or care involving skills we have learned in class.
