HOMEWORK for 2nd Semester
Jan 3.- Finish Ch. 5 vocabulary if you did not do so in class.
Jan. 11.- Finish Speed & Acceleration worksheet from class. Remember that this is for a grade! Speed = distance/time The notes are on the website! If you are having trouble, email me!
Jan. 15- Make sure that you have turned in your Ch. 5 vocabulary as well as your Motion Crossword Puzzle. If you are in 2nd or 5th period, you need to finish reading Chapter 5 and do the Chapter 5 Review at the end of the chapter. We will have a test over Chapter 5 on FRIDAY!
Jan. 28.- Flip Chart over Newton's 3 Laws- Make a flip chart with Newton's 3 laws. Make sure you draw an example on the inside and have the law on the top flap. It should be colorful as well as neat!
Jan. 29 If you didn't finisht the assignment from class, finish it and turn it in tomorrow! Outline Chapter 6- page 136 •Make sure that you have EVERY section heading with at LEAST 3 facts from each BLUE section (which may have 2 or 3 green sections). Also make sure that you have ALL of the headings!
Grades are due this week! Make sure you have EVERYTHING turned in!
Feb. 6 Don't forget about your quiz on Friday! Your progress reports went home yesterday also! Parents, don't forget to look! :-) Look for the link at the bottom for a SURPRISE! .
Feb. 7 Start on your project! It's due on Feb. 15!!
Feb. 26 Name 2 different ways to use 3 of the different types of simple machines at YOUR house and tell me why and how you use it. Remember to write in COMPLETE sentences!!
March 17 Make sure that you are studying your notes and wave diagrams. We are reviewing for the CRCT and I would suggest going over your notes from Energy and Motion to begin with. It would be a great deal of help. Thanks.
