We are still reading "James and the Giant Peach" and hope to finish it before we leave for Spring Break. We are preparing for the upcoming CRCT, which begins the week after Spring Break.
We have a vocabulary test April 2nd, then there will not be another spelling or vocabulary test until we are finished the CRCT.
Please encourage your child to continue reading their AR books. I gave each person a slip of paper telling them how many tests they have taken so far. Most of them have taken the 8 reuired tests, but some have yet to take one. They are required to read at least 8 AR books this nine weeks and take a test on those 8 books. They receive an AR grade each 9 weeks.
