Reading and Language Arts: We will be reviewing all vowel sounds and spelling. We will work on compound words and summarizing. Our spelling words are:
ten, five, less, feet, sum, miles, from, these, people, and horses.
Grammar: We will work on combining sentences.
Math: We will be working on timed math facts and reviewing math skills.
Social Studies/Science: We will work on spring and end-of-the-year activities.
Reminders:
1. Our field day for students Pre-K to 2nd grade will be held on Thursday, May 14th. More information to come.
2. Our first grade awards ceremony will be held in the cafeteria on Wednesday May 20th at 1:00.
3. The last day of school will be Friday, May 22.
