It's hard to believe we are over halfway through the year. It's important to continue to practice the skills we have been learning in class. Right now we are working on telling time to the hour and half hour. We are still working on money. Please have your child identify the name of the coins and the value. Also we are going to begin counting the value of like coins. (ex. 5 dimes = 50 cents)
Also please continue to practice reading. Go over the words that are in word families that we work on in class. Please review the sounds blends make (sh, th, ch).
As we finish the work in our math series, look for new homework. More details to come later. We will be working towards getting your child ready for first grade!
