The Midland 7/8th Grade Orchestra is working hard. We are perfecting Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by J.S. Bach and we are working on some very exciting music for upcoming concerts.
The 6th Grade Orchestra is working on Countdown March, Kabuki Dance and some other really great pieces. They are really making progress. Remember TOI!!!!OR Time on instrument MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!
Upcoming Concert for All Orchestras is March 3 at 6:30 Location-- MMS Chorus Room. Reception afterwards. Everyone bring something for the reception. Students should dress up. Participation is required.
April 2, Thursday Sixth Grade--Spring Festival for Sixth Grade only---will be at Shaw H.S. auditorium. More information to come. Participation is voluntary.
April 25, Saturday. Solo/Ensemble Festival will be held at Double Churches M.S. This concert will be for ALL Orchestra students. The performance time is TBA. Participation is required.
Spring Concert May 5---Everyone at Shaw H.S. auditorium
