Monday, November 9
Aim: Students will graph and label points on a coordinate grid.
Homework: Students will complete practice A and B for section 6-6 (Ordered Pairs).
Lesson Steps:
1) Do Now: Add and subtract mixed numbers (CRCT practice skill workbook - page 1)
2) Review homework: line plots, frequency tables, and histograms)
3) Identify ordered pairs on a coordinate plane
4) Lab Activity: graph and label points on a coordinate grid

Tuesday, November 10
Aim: Students will graph and label points on a coordinate grid.
Homework: Students will complete the reteach activity for section 6-6 (Ordered Pairs).
Lesson Steps:
1) Do Now: Add and subtract mixed numbers (CRCT practice skill workbook - page 2)
2) Review homework: identifying and graphing ordered pairs
3) Lab Activity: graph and label points on a coordinate grid

Veterans Day: No school for students or teachers

Thursday, November 12
Aim: Students will create single and double line graphs.
Homework: Students will complete practice A and B for section 6-7 (Line Graphs).
Lesson Steps:
1) Do Now: Add and subtract mixed numbers (CRCT practice skill workbook - page 3)
2) Review homework: identifying and graphing ordered pairs
3) Use the data in tables to create line graphs
4) Lab Activity: create single and double line graphs
