The student demonstrates competence in a variety of genres (technical writing).
The student identifies and uses the eight basic parts of speech and demonstrates that words can be different parts of speech within a sentence (prepositions).

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2008 - Finish writing activity - Write directions from the classroom to media center and from the classroom to the cafeteria. Use prepositional phrases. Draw map to go with your map.
