Cummerbunds and bow ties can still be purchased.  Our small sizes have been back-ordered by the company.

We have all worked hard on sight-reading and will continue toward a more perfected skill level.  The 6th grades are becoming more familiar with the scales and manipulating the order of intervals with ear training.  Students continue to work blend, expression and sight-reading.  We have begun our holiday pieces and have previewed some of our assessment music for Evaluation performance in the Spring.  At the bottom of this site you will find a set of 'flash cards' that is a simple review of some of our terms. There are also tools there within the 'ear training' sites to assist your child with improving his/her ability to match and recognize pitch, dynamic and timbre changes.

There will be a talent show in the Spring.  Auditions will be announced soon after the beginning of second term.

We are a performance based class as well as a Performing Art.  Please try to attend all performances. Our Large Group Performance Evaluation will be during the 3rd week in March.

Don't forget to bring your folder and a pencil to chorus!!!

Musically yours,
Ms. Hyatt
