Monday 2/8/10
S7L5 – Students will examine the evolution of living organisms through inherited characteristics that promote survival of organisms and the survival of successive generations of their offspring.
The students will:
1.Come in quietly and complete Daily Science Trivia, update agenda book and Table of Contents
2.Complete “Making Peppered Moths” activity – students make their own peppered moths with camouflage to place around the room for others to hunt
3.Complete and participate in Word Wall Wonderment activity
4.Participate in “Evolutionary Excitement Matching Game” – students will match evolution terms with their definitions in a competition with each other
Homework: complete Study Guide

Tuesday 2/9/10
S7L5 – Students will examine the evolution of living organisms through inherited characteristics that promote survival of organisms and the survival of successive generations of their offspring.
The students will:
1.Come in quietly and complete Daily Science Trivia, update agenda book and Table of Contents
2.Complete Evolution Review activity
3.Participate in “Evolutionary Excitement Matching Game” – students will match evolution terms with their definitions in a competition with each other
Homework: study ~ test tomorrow!

Wednesday 2/10/10
S7L5 – Students will examine the evolution of living organisms through inherited characteristics that promote survival of organisms and the survival of successive generations of their offspring.
The students will:
1.Come in quietly and complete Daily Science Trivia, update agenda book and Table of Contents
2.Participate in “Evolution Kaboom!”
3.Complete Evolution Test
