We are going to have an exciting year together! I can't wait!! I hope those of you that love math will continue to grow and excel this year, and to the students who really don't like math...look out, by the end of the year you will look forward to walking in my room each day. I promise to make math meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable. I will be looking to you for input into the lessons I create, so that you will get the most from coming to math each day. Hang on! We're about to take off....this is definitely not your usual math class!!!!!!!!

Parents last year really enjoyed the additional features offered with the new math textbooks. You can access the student text book as well as additional practice worksheets online, so students have no excuses for not being able to complete their homework! Another Internet feature that I just love is the the online tutor that accompanies each lesson.
www.go.hrw.com is the site that offers homework help and video tutorials
my.hrw.com requires the user name jags7 and the password 1234 and is the site that has the online textbook and the additional practice sheets. Click on Mathematics, then Middle School Math, then Holt Course 2 2007.
