This week we will cover Measurement and the Metric System and move into Matter on Thursday.  The metric test will be held on Wednesday.  It will be a "hands-on" test whereby the students will be graded on how well they measure several classroom items in various units (cm, m, dm and so forth).  There will also be a few questions on unit conversions (km to m, cm to mm, and so forth.)  We have taken extensive notes, so please have your children review their notes daily.  Thank you !!!

* Explain the importance of the International System of Units.
* Determine the appropriate units to use for particular measurements.
* Describe how density and area are derived quantities.
