9/05:Email progress reports will be sent today. Next week on Wed. 9/10 your child will bring home their mid-term progress report. Therefore I will not send email reports next Fri. 9/12.
9/04:Study for your vocab test tomorrow. We will have a Journal Check on our "Warm Ups".
9/02/08:It was great meeting a lot of you on Thurs. at the Open House. Please check your child's agenda book for daily lessons. We will begin MAP testing tomorrow through next Tues. We will begin Lesson 1 vocab today pg. 3-5. If you did not receive an email progress report on Fri. 8/29 and you have given us an email address, please let us know. Your child should have brought home a hard copy if we don't have an email address for you.
8/28/08:Study for your vocab test tomorrow. Open House is this evening at 6:30 pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
8/26/08:We will do Lesson 12 in vocab. this week. We are reviewing Subjects and predidates and the 4 kinds of sentences. Please check your child's agenda for daily details. Open House is Thur. 8/28 at 6:30 pm.
8/21/08:Study for your vocab. test. Use the vocab cards that we made in class today.
8/20/08:Study for your vocab test on Friday. We will also have a Journal Check from our "warm ups" for the first 2 weeks of school. Please check to see that your child has completed the warm ups in their spiral notebook and their agenda should have Do Now, Aim, Lesson Steps and Homework for each subject, each day.
8/18/08:Please make sure that your child has his/her supplies for my class.( 2-3 prong folders and a one subject spiral notebook) These things will help your child to stay organized and have a successful year! Lesson 5 pg. 19-20 context clues. Your child should complete his/her name plate tonight so that they can present it to the class tomorrow. Ask them to present it to you. Check your child's agenda for daily lessons.
8/14/08:Study for your vocab test on Lesson 10 tomorrow. Please have your supplies from the letter I sent home by Mon. 8/18. Please return all completed school packet info by Mon. 8/18.
8/11/08:Welcome back to another exciting school year. We are off to a great start. Your child received an Agenda book today and has begun putting in the daily lessons that we are working on in class. Please check your child's agenda daily to see the AIM, Lesson Steps and homework for each subject. This will help your child to have a successful year. You will receive a packet of info tonight that will need to be completed and returned to school asap. Tomorrow I will send home a letter about Language Arts and things the students will need for this year. Locker fees are $10.00 and should be paid asap. Thank you for helping your child to be successful.
