Mondays: We will discuss and practice this weeks math problems/concepts. The students will be afforded opportunities to conduct math problems on the board and to ask questions regarding those problems.
Tuesdays: We will discuss L.A. materials and practice the various E/LA concepts tought for the week.
Wednesday: We will discuss our weekly Social Studies concepts, terms, and related information. The students will get extra practice with maps, utalizing textbooks, etc.
Thursday: The students will be going over Science terms and working on projects.
Fridays: We will use Fridays to maintain/organize our notebooks for the coming week.
Also, a portion of each days class period may be used to study for upcoming tests and/or homework assignments.
The goal of this class is to aid in student success in their daily work, home work, and tests for Science, Social Studies, Math and English/Language Arts. Though the schedule dictates what subject is studied each day, up coming tests/homework may alter the subject studied.
Our 6th grade will be taking the CoGAT OCt.41,15,16
and the ITBS Oct.20th through Oct. 24th
