Our year has started and I am very glad to have your child in my Social Studies class. I got to know your child very well by establishing a rapport with them.
This Nine Weeks, we have started and will continue to use mini or major projects to display what your child has learned about geography by creating a map from their house to the school. Next, your child has been assigned to create a "Power Point" about "China, Mongolia, and Taiwan" which is due: SEPTEMBER 8, 2008. This project can be done at school or at home. Our next mini-project will be a short research paper September 26, 2008.
Again, I am proud to be your child teacher.
