This week we will concentrate on map skills. This includes the parts of a map and latitude and longitude. Students will also take a pre-test to determine prior knowledge of what we will be learning this year.
A quiz will be given on Friday over Culture, Map skills, Latitude and longitude.
We will complete the following assignments this week.

This week we will begin our unit on Europe. We will concentrate on the geography of Europe. Students will be given a physical and political map. We will fill out the physical map together. Students will work on the political maps in class. Students should finish the political map at home and color in the circled countries on back. They should be finished by Thursday 8/28.

Sorry I did not get this weeks lessons posted due to Labor Day. This week we completed our United Kingdom lesson by discussing Scotland. Students were given a quiz on Friday along with a worksheet on Great Britain which they completed in class.
