This week we concluded our lesson on the three major religions of Europe (Islam, Judaism, and Christianity). If you have not turned in your brochure giving five facts about each religion, please do so by 1/22.
We also began a lesson of different governments in Europe. Please review the notes from class for a quiz to be given at a later date.
I am in the process of grading Social Studies Fair projects. There are some really nice projects. Be prepared to discuss your project with the class. No more than 3 to five minutes.
This week we discussed the different styles of government in Europe. After the lesson students completed a crossword.
We also discussed different economic systems of Europe. Once again a crossword was given to show understanding of the material.
There will be a quiz next week (A Day - 2/2 and
B Day - 2/3. Review the two worksheets on government and the one worksheet on economics.
