3. Work must be legible and neat.
4. Follow standard handwriting and print forms
in the formation of letters.
5. On the day that you return to class after
an absence, ask Coach Murray about make up work.

6. Student actions which require disciplinary action will result in writing conjugations of verbs. Conjugations will be turned in the next school day. Failure to turn in conjugations will result in a call to your parents and the completion of the conjugations.
HOW TO WRITE CONJUGATIONS:
Every verb has four principal parts:
infinitive, present participle, past, and
past participle.
Infinitive -- (to) begin
Present Participle -- beginning
Past -- began
Past Participle -- (have) begun
We will conjugate verbs in six tenses. The
infinitive is used in the present and future
tenses. The past is used in the past tense. The
past participle is used in the present perfect,
past perfect, and future perfect tenses.

Past Tense

I began we began
you began you began

Future Tense

Put you name, date, and period on the front of
each sheet. Put three tenses on the front and
three tenses on the back of each sheet of paper.
Nightly Assignment
Read 5 or more pages in an A.R. book. If an AR book is unavailable, read in another book a magazine, or a newspaper. Write a brief summary, a gist, of 20 words or less. Students are assigned to read 2 A.R. books each nine weeks and take the A.R. tests on them.
