My math class will have a test over chapter 7, sections1 and 2 wednesday, 9/2. They will need to know how to make and use a line plot and a stem and leaf plot. Also, they will need to be able to find the mean, median, mode and range of a set of data.
All of the 7th grade teachers began the year at the same place so everyone who made up my class has studied the same material. The Georgia math standards addressed by these sections are below.

a. Formulate questions and collect data from a census of at least 30 objects and from samples of varying sizes.
b. Construct frequency distributions.
c. Analyze data using measures of central tendency (mean, median, and mode), including recognition of outliers.
