Homework folders are sent home every Monday. Return by Friday of each week.
READING:
Read AR book every night. Return the next day for an AR test.
Your child should spend at least 15 minutes reading every night.
Practice spelling words every night.
NOTE: If a student is absent on Friday the spelling test will be given when they
return to school the next week.
MATH:
Practice writing numbers to 20. Be able to count to 50.
Learn color words and number words to eighteen.
Practice addition and subtraction facts to 18.
Learn to count by 1's, 5's, and 10's to 100.
Recognize and identify the penny, nickel, dime
and quarter.
Learn to count money using the penny, nickel, dime and quarter to $1.00.
Be able to tell time to the hour and the half-hour.
