Monday, Nov. 16 - Today we began our study of "Flowers for Algernon." We are reading and discussing this in class. Students wrote two paragraphs discussing the following writing prompt:
If you could choose to be the smartest or most popular person in your school, which would you choose and why?
Tuesday, Nov 17 - Students will complete Health Surveys in the Media Center and check out books. We will continue reading and discussing "Flowers for Algernon." Vocabulary words from the story will be issued - please see flashcards on this website. Students will take a mock Rorshach test in relation to the story.
