Fall 2008 DCMS Orchestra School Notes:
11-14-08
Double Churches Middle School Orchestra:

December Concert will be Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7:00 P.M. in the DCMS Cafeteria. All students will be performing. Please arrange to wear black pants, a long-sleeved white shirt and dress shoes (black socks).

Please check that your son/daughter has instrument, folder, rosin, shoulder rest, (rock stop for cello/bass), and pencil each day. These count as part of the daily average. They can also receive points for practicing at home. These points make up the daily average, which will form the basis of the progress report grades going home during the 4th week of the nine weeks. Also, please write me a note explaining any absences and have your son/daughter bring it to me when returning to school after each absence. I will remove 0's and replace them with E (excused). Thank you.

I would like to set up parent conferences with you all after school on Tues./Thurs. from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at your earliest convenience. Please let me know when will be convenient for you and I will respond to confirm the day/time. Thanks, P. Singletary.
