You have been chosen to appear in a production of Ms. Williams "Wise Wizards". Your challenge is to be the smartest person you can be for the next 180 days. Sounds like a lot of FUN, so 'Let's get ready to RUMBLE'! I'm looking forward to a SPECTACULAR year. We will ride the Cornerstone Express to the depots of KNOWLEDGE. You don't want to get left, so join me and all the Wizard-riders as we take on the world.
Our first task is to bring our supplies to school. They are:
(6) 3-prong pocket folders (green, blue, orange,
purple, red and yellow)
clipboard
color pencils
pocket dictionary/thesaurus
black/white composition notebook
any other supplies/treats will be asked for as needed.
To My Parents,
Students are expected to wear the school uniforms. The colors are: Monday- red top, navy bottom; Tuesday-red top, khaki pants; Wednesday- white top, navy bottom; Thursday- navy top, khaki bottom; Friday- spirit day; school t-shirts and any bottom.
My grading policy is the same scale as the school district's policy. However, we will start "Standard based" reporting to parents. You will hear more about it as the year progresses.
Students will take test on every Fridays. The results will be sent home on Tuesdays along with a weekly grade sheet that will include the conduct grade for the week.
Please sign and return the weekly grade sheet ONLY.
My homework policy is: Homework is given Monday- Thursday ONLY, and is given as an opportunity to practice our daily and weekly skills.
