WELCOME TO ART CLASS!

All classes will have the opportunity to make art using various supplies such as crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, oil pastels, and collage. The art we make varies by grade level. We will talk about and see examples of art from famous artists throughout history. Students will see how art can cross the curriculum and support other subjects such as math, science, and language arts, and more.

All classes will begin by drawing and coloring a cover for their folders/sketchbooks. Then all classes will learn about the color wheel and different color schemes such as warm, cool, triadic, monochromatic, complementary, and analogous.
