A research paper has been assignmed to all students on a business icon.  As the students progress with their papers, portions are due in class to be approved by me.  DO NOT expect any classtime for working on the project.  

Research Paper Timeline:
Research: Tuesday September 30, 2008 – Be sure you are keeping track of your sources as you do your research.  You will need these to cite sources you quote or paraphrase from when you write your paper.
Pre-writing: Friday, October 10, 2008
Rough Draft: Friday, October 17, 2008
Final Draft Due (pre-writing and rough draft must be turned in with your final draft): Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Standards:
1.BCS-CA1-3 Students will use word processing and/or desktop publishing software through a variety of input technologies to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate documents.
E. apply graphic object skills such as scale, insert, crop, borders, wrap text, autoshapes, fill and line options, shading, textboxes and WordArt.
F.Demonstrate time-management to complete tasks in allotted time.
2. BCS-CA1-4 Students will use spreadsheet software to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate files.
Identify components of the spreadsheet window using industry terminology and efficiently navigate throughout  the worksheets and workbook.
a. Demonstrate creating, opening, saving, renaming, inserting, deleting, retrieving, and closing a worksheet and workbooks.
