MATH (M7A3-c)
We will continue solving equations, both one-step and two-step. We are focusing this week on vocabulary words from first semester, as well as reviewing with CRCT practice questions.
It is very important for students to continue to work on Accelerated Math assignments at home.
I will continue tutoring sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:30. If your student has missed class or is having problems with any math work, attending these after-school sessions will really help.
Our next meeting for Saturday Academic School is Jan. 10. I am encouraging all of my students who need extra help to attend.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We are studying the countries of Central Africa in Chapter 12. Students are now keeping a notebook with all work saved for CRCT purposes, and these may be brought home from time to time to be signed. I will also begin to send progress reports out every two weeks.
