Please check with your student about forms for Saturday school. Yellow forms were sent home with my students who need to attend Saturday school tutoring. We will hold our next Saturday session on Oct. 17. All students are invited to attend, but students with one or more failing grades are strongly urged to attend.
We are beginning integers and integer operations this week (Standard M7N1). After a pre-test, students will begin activities that deal with negative and positive integers.
Students should still complete practices from ACC math for homework. This is a very important part of our program. They should bring home assignments every night in this area for homework.
We are now studying the economic conditions of countries in the middle east. Students will be assigned projects that will be completed on the computer this week.
***** Students will now begin keeping notebooks in social studies and math. I am requesting that they start using the 3-prong folders with pockets for use in both areas.
