Art I is currently working on the fundamentals of line. These exercises will gradually take the student toward perspective, value and color . Students need to purchase a sketchbook by Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Students will use the sketchbook everyday to draw in.
Homework: Study art terms. Vocab test #4 over #31-40, October 10, 2008. PLEASE BRING A SKETCHBOOK, PENCIL AND ERASER TO CLASS EVERYDAY.
Sketchbook due 8-20-08.
Art II is currently working on a mummy case inspired by Egyptian art. They will be starting an abstract collage at the end of the week and continue working on this project for several weeks to come.
Homework: Sketchbook due Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Continue to draw in sketchbook to develop new ideas and strengthen skills. SKETCHBOOK CHECK #4 DUE October 10, 2008. Redraw from the worksheet and focus on the details we discussed in class.
